Apogee Official Supplier Virgin Money London Marathon for 4th year

Apogee staff across all operations including engineers, drivers and software experts will work together to provide and support a document infrastructure for the organisers and the world’s media to use around the clock.

One week prior to the race on Sunday 28 April, a vast network of print and document equipment will be preconfigured, delivered and installed at multiple locations across central London. Apogee staff across all operations including engineers, drivers, and software experts will work together to provide and support a document infrastructure for the organisers and the world’s media to use around the clock.

The team will be on-site to ensure all technology runs smoothly throughout the build-up week and the race weekend. This meticulous planning and proactive management by Apogee allows the event organisers to focus their attention on delivering the race, to the delight of more than 41,000 runners and millions of supporters.

“We are delighted to be an Official Supplier to the 2019 Virgin Money London Marathon once again,” said Gary Downey, Group Marketing Director at Apogee. “All the Apogee team really enjoys working with London Marathon Events Limited and it’s such an exciting event to be part of. There’s a great deal of planning, preparation, and hard work that the team put in not just on race day but in the weeks beforehand and it’s very gratifying that the quality of support we provide is recognised. For major events like this it’s crucial that the organisers can rely upon the infrastructure we provide.”
