Team Apogee volunteers at RBLI
On Friday 8th November, a group of Apogee volunteers headed to Royal British Legion Industries warehouse in Aylesford, Kent – the largest veteran village in the UK.
RBLI has been helping those in need for over 100 years, providing support when needed to the armed forces and their families - primarily those with disabilities, and those who have found themselves unemployed.
The Apogee team lent a helping hand packaging and boxing up over 540 solar-powered light-up Tommy figures, ready to be distributed via RBLI’s online shop.
Apogee sponsors the Rudolph Fun Run!
The ‘Rudolph Fun Run’ event raises vital income for RBLI to continue the important work that they do, while encouraging participants and attendees to become part of a community supporting Armed Forces veterans and creating positive change in the local community.
The event, held at Leybourne Lakes in Kent, involves both a 2.5km family fun route and a 5km chip-timed route to appeal to families and runners of all abilities.
“We are really proud to support RBLI’s Rudolph Fun Run for the second consecutive year. The event is such a fantastic way to be involved in, and support the community local to our head office in Maidstone, while raising awareness of Armed Forces veterans and their families. Plus, it’s a great bit of festive fun!” – Dom Gryszan, Director of Marketing at Apogee.
"A huge thank you to Apogee Corporation as our headline sponsor for the 2025 Rudolph Fun Run. It is through support like this we are able to host such a fantastic event and carry on supporting veterans and people with disabilities for another 100 years." - Paula Ray, Assistant Director of Fundraising at RBLI
Apogee’s work with RBLI is part of our drive to support community-based projects in Kent, as well as other areas around the UK and Ireland, to positively impact its local communities.
