Apogee Corporation represented at the Women in Sales Awards (WISA)

Apogee Corporation will be represented by finalists Sarah Uddin, Katy Sykes, Lyndsey Corby, and Sarah Walters – as well as its Director of Inside Sales, Laura Bradley-Carter, who will be serving as a panel judge for the second year in a row.

MAIDSTONE, UK, 23/11/22 - Apogee Corporation will be represented at this year’s Women In Sales Awards (WISA) by finalists Sarah Uddin (Customer Service Director category), Lyndsey Corby (Customer Service Executive category), Katy Sykes (Sales Support category), and Sarah Walters (Field Sales category).

As well as these finalists, Apogee’s Director of Inside Sales, Laura Bradley-Carter, returned to WISA as a panel judge on 10th November 2022. The winners will be announced during the awards ceremony on 8th December.

As well as a panel judge, Laura Bradley-Carter is among the group of senior executives who will provide one year of mentorship to one of 22 category winners.

“It's an absolute honour to be judging again this year!” says Laura. “I can't wait to meet all these phenomenal women and celebrate their successes with them."

Now in its 9th year, The Women in Sales Awards will be hosted in London by Zars Media; a firm which aims to highlight women’s leadership contributions across the world of business. By encouraging women to enter - and excel - in traditionally male-dominated fields, Zars hopes to diversify the talent pool for modern businesses.

WISA received over 500 nominations this year, from companies who are promoting and supporting the careers of their exemplary saleswomen. Now, 170 finalists remain – based on criteria such as attitude, skills, process, knowledge, commercial acumen, and the ability to achieve targets.

Apogee’s finalists will be considered alongside saleswomen from Ricoh, Adobe, American Express, Virgin Media, Verizon, Barclaycard, and Salesforce, among others.

“We’re immensely proud to have so much representation at the Women In Sales Awards,” says Carl Day, Apogee’s Chief Sales Officer, “both with Laura, as a judge, and with Sarah, Lyndsey, Katy and Sarah, who have all been nominated from within the business.”

“The strength of our team lies in its diversity, and its resistance to a one-size-fits-all approach. By shining a light on our exemplary saleswomen, we discourage the myth that sales is a career choice that only suits men – and normalise sales being a viable career for everyone.”

Apogee’s representation at the Women In Sales Awards demonstrates its commitment to fostering an increasingly diverse culture. In a recent statement, Aurelio Maruggi, CEO, said:

“We are continuing to break down barriers within Apogee by advancing equality, social justice, and support for our communities. It’s not just the right thing to do. It also makes us a stronger, more innovative, and better aligned with our clients’ values.”
