Apogee Corporation is delighted to be the lead sponsor of the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust charity abseil challenge, taking place on Saturday 19th October 2024.
The abseil will see participants take the 100ft descent down the side of Tunbridge Wells Hospital later this year.
The challenge is a key fundraising event for the Trust, with every penny raised helping to ensure the patients of Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells hospitals continue to receive the care that they deserve.
We are delighted to be working alongside Apogee as sponsors for our abseil challenge.
Their support will ensure that we can continue to give back to our local hospitals, helping to fund vital resources and improvements which will make a huge difference.
– Claire Ashby, Head of Charity and Fundraising at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust
As well as positively impacting the patients and staff at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust, the event will also bring together the local community – with participants encouraged to bring along their family and friends to witness them take on the challenge.
Seasoned abseilers and first-timers are equally encouraged to take part in the event, with a team of experts on-hand on the day to ensure safety and to guide participants through the experience.
We’re delighted to be the lead sponsor of the abseil challenge.
This is a really special event to be involved in - Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust are an incredibly important part of the community local to our head office, and this is a fantastic way to bring us together.
– Dom Gryszan, Director of Marketing for Apogee Corporation
“Our abseil challenge is a unique way for members of our local community to come together and improve the experiences of our patients, staff and visitors, while achieving something extraordinary,” adds Claire. “We already have over 100 people signed up, and we are looking forward to working with Apogee to create an unforgettable day in support of our local hospitals.”
This sponsorship reflects Apogee’s commitment to supporting the local community of Kent, as well as other areas around the UK and Ireland.
